In the industrial sector today there are many types of adsorbents which are existing; as such silica gel, activated alumina, molecular sieve and activated carbon which are more used chemical industries, refineries, oil industries and many other commercial markets. Hence user needs to make a right and economic selection of true adsorbent. From the adsorbents – alumina, silica and zeolite have a high adsorption capacity at low pressure. By virtue of their adsorption capacity these adsorbents does their job of efficient drying. In case of the high relative humidity drying condition, activated alumina is more preferable to having largest adsorb capacity. Where as in case of low relative humidity drying application at higher temperature, molecular sieve more prefer. During this process temperature can set up to 60C0

Molecular Sieves:

We produced natural zeolite based and alumina based adsorbent molecular sieve, containing crystalline type aluminosilicate with a clay. These adsorbent is the most suitable for their industrial drying and purification process as a true moisture adsorbent

Molecular Sieve Beads
The special features of molecular sieves are in reversible adsorption process for various gaseous compounds with having high surface area. The sodium based molecules has pore size of 4A0, indicate MS4A, with replacement of sodium by calcium based molecules having pore width 5A0, known as MS5A. In the same process replacing sodium to potassium pore size 3A0, leads to MS3A, all this molecular sieve types are zeolite type A structure. While as zeolite type X structure gives 10A based on calcium based molecular compounds, leads to MS13X, having highest adsorption capacity than other mol sieves.

Regeneration Process:

Normally adsorbents are used in two ways one in adsorption mode and another in regeneration mode. After water and moisture saturating process reaches at the equilibrium zone, molecular sieve can restore for the adsorption process by heating temperature 270 to 295 C0 from the inert gas by changing thermal pressure or pressure swing. If fastest generation required, set temperature to 360C0

Separation/Purification Process:

Molecular sieve are used for industrial gas such as hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, etc. separation and purification process. The selection of molecular sieve types are depends on their pore diameter size and its polarity. Only those molecules having their pore size smaller than the chemicals or solvents.

Advantages:

  • Higher static and dynamic adsorption capacity
  • Regenerate under lower temperature
  • Oil, organic solvents and natural gases purification
  • Three types of intra connecting networks
  • Improved purification capability
  • Improve the life time of adsorbent
  • Improve adsorbent capacity
